WELCOME! My name is Stacey Hardman of Unit Study Helps and I am a homeschool mom.  I started homeschooling in 1997. I have two children in the eighth grade.  I have graduated four students: two of mine and two other students under my licenses.  I am excited to work with everyone that visits this site. Have you seen the booklets on the language arts page of the website? Check out these great writing aids and reading suggestions for homeschooling parents and students! If you are looking for some great helps with your writing and literature programs, there are some GREAT tools here!

Over the years, Lynn Hogan had published a free e-mail homeschooling newsletter. As of November 18th, Heather Idoni has taken it over but it is still a valuable homeschooling tool. It has a number of reader contributions, some of which are included on this site! Just click on the "Special Helps" tab up above to see what I mean. You don't have to be using unit studies to benefit from this newsletter! Also on the site, you will find FREE Math Worksheets that you can make for your own homeschooling needs, as well as some great service project ideas that you may want to incorporate into your school. Check out the article on Teaching Writing and Readiness written by Sherri Fields for the Homeschooler's Notebook! We here at Unit Study Helps so appreciate the on-going support of our readers. We LOVE to find excuses to publish full pages of information straight out of the homeschooling homes of our readers!
